Well we are in August and pleased to report that we have completed the immediate planting of the first batch of Cashew trees. Its been a long journey fuelled by some incredibly generous people. The kilometre of fencing was completed and wired and we have approx 350 trees in the ground and the plantation is growing a seed crop to produce vegetable oil this year. TWO outcomes! The delay in planting due to the need for fencing meant we lost trees from our original 500 so we have seedlings "coming" on to replace these and we will hopefully get the full complement underway this year. We are now looking at a lot of activity to get Gift Aid off the ground, some landing pages so that we can communicate far better and become more visible and kicking off two campaigns for 2023.. A borehole at the Four hectare site and a site management office! The Cashews site can be extended in multiples of two hectares easily as we go forward adding 200 trees at each increment.

If you would like to sponsor a hectare or multiple trees then drop us a line! kerrlayen@gmail.com
